Responsible for laying floor coverings in establishments such as buildings, restaurants, homes, offices, ad factories. Uses various materials, including laminate, linoleum, vinyl, cork, rubber, cement, carpet, wood, or tile.
Installing hardwood requires laying and finishing the flooring and installing the baseboard. Because the subflooring and the floor system below can affect the final product, we check and ensure the structural integrity of the floor.
If the subflooring is not adequate, we will either install or repair the subflooring, or direct a framing contractor to do so. During installation, the specialist will employ techniques to prevent squeaking, which is common in some types of wood floors.
